The obverse features a stylized depiction of Goddess Lakshmi seated in Padmasana, while the reverse bears the Nagari inscription “Śrīmad Gaṅgeya Deva”, representing the renowned Kalachuri ruler Gangeya Deva.

This historical coin is struck in a debased gold alloy, a characteristic feature of certain medieval Indian coinages. The coin weighs 3.92 grams and has been XRF tested for metallic composition.
