The image shows an Omani 1 Rial coin from 1978, issued for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The coin is silver and features a fish in the center, with inscriptions in Arabic above and below. The inscriptions translate to "Work towards the development of food resources" and "FAO". Two crossed daggers and two stars also appear on the coin. 

The Omani Rial is the official currency of Oman, introduced in 1970 as the Rial Saidi, later renamed the Omani Rial in 1973. It is subdivided into 1000 baisa. As of April 25, 2025, 1 Omani Rial is equivalent to approximately 221.51 Indian Rupees. The Omani Rial is considered one of the highest-valued currencies globally.
